Is there another way of using Synced Blocks other than a blog page?

Synced Blocks are primarily designed to be stored in a blog collection called Reusables in Squarespace. However, once a Synced Block has been created, you can include it anywhere a Summary Block is supported. This means you’re not limited to blog pages—you can also use them in:

  • Regular pages
  • Event pages and Event items
  • Product additional info sections

How to Use Synced Blocks Across Your Site

You can insert Synced Blocks on various pages by adding a Summary Block that links to the Reusables blog. This allows you to filter and display the synced content based on unique tags.

Examples of Reusable Content Blocks

  • Code Snippets: If you have specific code snippets or widgets that you frequently use, save them as Synced Blocks in the Reusables blog. Then, insert them anywhere using a Code Block.
  • Gallery Blocks: Create reusable galleries by saving them as Synced Blocks. This way, you can display them on multiple pages without needing to recreate them each time.
  • Forms and Newsletters: Similar to galleries, forms and newsletter blocks can be saved as Synced Blocks, ensuring consistent updates across your site without manual adjustments.
