How to Create Reusable Blocks Across Your Squarespace Site?

On Squarespace 7.1, you can create reusable content with Saved Sections. You can create up to 50 saved sections on your site, but they aren’t linked to the original.

Changes to the original section won’t update the saved version or its copies. For more details, check out Squarespace's support page.

To copy individual blocks between sections, simply:

  • Use ⌘ + C on Mac or Ctrl + C on Windows to copy the block.

  • Then, paste it with ⌘ + V (Mac) or Ctrl + V (Windows).

For a more advanced solution, the Synced Blocks plugin allows you to create reusable content blocks across multiple pages. Any changes made to a Synced block are updated everywhere with a single click—saving you time and effort.

Another third-party tool, SquarespaceTools Extension, offers a way to save sets of blocks or layouts as "Content Presets," making it easy to reuse them across your site.
