How to display Delivery datepicker values on Shopping Cart page
As a follow up of Proposal: show Delivery datepicker values on Shopping Cart page, we are excited to announce a new enhancement to our Squarespace Datepicker plugin: displaying delivery datepicker values directly on the Shopping Cart page. This update aims to improve the user experience by providing clear and convenient information about selected delivery dates for each product.
Why Do We Need a Date Value on Each Line Item?
Clarity: It provides clear and precise information about the selected delivery or event dates for each product, ensuring that customers know exactly when they can expect their items.
Convenience: It allows customers to verify and adjust their selected dates if needed, making the shopping process smoother and more user-friendly.
How to Enable the Feature
The feature can be enabled as a setting on the datepicker rule: Show value in Shopping cart. Users can easily toggle this setting to display date values on the Shopping Cart page.

How the Values Will Be Displayed
Location: The datepicker values will be displayed below the product title on each cart line item.
Format: The display will include the datepicker field's title and the actual selected date value, ensuring that the information is clear and easy to understand.
Datepicker values will be shown on page load and will be updated automatically when you edit the line items Product forms using Edit Details button
Plugins Compatilibity
Some Squarespace plugins allows displaying the Shopping cart in a drawer and can be slide out upon clicking at the Shopping cart icon, this feature has been tested against those plugins to ensure it is still functional
