How can I create a text link to an image in a full page lightbox gallery?

To create a text link that opens an image in a full-page lightbox gallery using Beyondspace plugins, you can follow these steps:

  1. Create a Source Gallery:

    • Insert a Gallery block or section on a blank page and upload your images.
    • Name the page and note its URL (e.g., /source-gallery).
  2. Create the Lightboxify URL:

    • Your Lightboxify URL should look like this:
      /source-gallery?lightboxify=true#gallery-id
    • Replace gallery-id with the actual ID of your gallery, which you can find using the Squarespace ID Finder. If the Gallery ID isn’t available in the URL, Lightbox Studio will automatically use the first gallery block or section of the page. You can insert multple galleries in the sample page with different gallery ID
  3. Set Up the Text Link:

    • In your text block, highlight the text you want to turn into a link.
    • Click on the link icon and insert the Lightboxify URL you created.
  4. Save and Preview:

    • Ensure that the gallery is lightbox enabled and preview the feature on your live site.
